Kenneth Brian Associates is currently working with a fantastic client in Croydon who are seeking a Buying Administrator to join their team. We are looking for a dedicated and organised individual to take on a dynamic role that involves sourcing and purchasing essential materials.
This is a part-time role (20-25 hours per week) with flexible days and hours to accommodate the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source materials for internal and client projects at competitive prices.
- Research and compare suppliers on price, product, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
- Maintain and manage inventory control systems to meet project demands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain procurement records.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' administrative experience.
- Previous purchasing/procurement experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Must live locally to South Croydon.
