Kenneth Brian Associates, are in collaboration with a top-tier real estate company based in Central London, who are seeking a seasoned Accountant ready to thrive in this dynamic industry. This is a prime opportunity to join a prestigious team at the heart of London's real estate hub.
Key Role Details:
The successful candidate will be working alongside an experience Finance Manager whilst completing your own service charge duties across their UK portfolio that is made up of commercial properties nationwide.
Duties:
- Manage the service charge budget and reconciliation process.
- Handle the service charge expenses review on a quarterly basis, long with providing summary reports to the Property & Facilities Managers.
- Prepare the year end service charge reconciliation accounts for the property manager to review.
- Assist in the analysis of service charge accounts during the due diligence of new acquisitions and aid the disposal of assets as instructed by the Head of Property Management.
- Check and review the quarterly service charge demands for accuracy.
- Assist the property & facilities managers with the creation of the annual service charge budgets and associated reports and analyses.
- Working with the management accountants to monitor non-recoverable & capital expenditure and assist with internal reporting.
- Ensure all approved invoices are sent to the Client
- Reconcile all bank accounts
- Resolve inbound Client and Supplier questions
- Raise client statements
- Process credit card payments
- Ensure credit notes are chased up on a weekly basis
- Produce weekly reports on credit limits
- Produce monthly reports for P&L, ageing balance, credit limits
- Work with services for banking and other financial advice as necessary
- General admin and office support
Our client will also include a comprehensive study package (ACA/CIMA) for the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience within in a similar role and will be happy to commute into London every day to work, however after probation you will be able to work on a hybrid basis.
