Kenneth Brian Associates are proud to be recruiting on behalf rapidly growing company based in Horley, as they are look to hire a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent Basis. The ideal candidate will be new qualified or at the latter stages of their studies and will be able grow with the role at the company continues to expand.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare income and expenditure reports and monitor spend against budget.
- Analyse financial information to drive understanding and action.
- Provide clear financial information, advice, KPIs, and analysis to non-finance budget holders.
- Liaise regularly with Budget Holders, ensuring information is accessible and understandable.
- Input into the budget setting process and accurately reforecast on a monthly basis.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure efficient communication.
- Identify and implement process and system improvements.
- Manage and develop the Purchase Ledger and Finance Assistant roles.
- Support payroll functionality and improve policies and systems to meet organisational objectives.
About you:
- Proven experience in financial oversight, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Strong budget management skills, including monitoring expenditure and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ability to prepare and present financial reports.
- Experience in team leadership, supervising, and mentoring finance staff.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, providing financial insights and support.
- Knowledge of cash flow management and forecasting.
- Experience coordinating with external auditors and addressing audit findings.
- Skills in process improvement and implementing financial policies and controls.
- Familiarity with insurance matters and payroll support.
- Experience in financial planning, accounting operations, and risk management.
- Proficiency in tax compliance and investment management.
- Strong staff management skills, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
